Hi Guys,
I am trying to log into my Plex server though the TV (Firefox) and I get to the prompt for the Pin.
I can not enter the Pin and a can not pass the prompt.
Has anyone had this issue? if so what was the solution?

How do I remove the annoying orange 'unread' announcements reminder?
As I'm using the most latest plex server software and connect using my plexpass account using the web interface, I keep on seeing that damn orange reminder with (now) 6 announcements, that the number represent unread announcements, but when I click on my account icon, then click on announcements it shows me, 9 past and present announcements and the number still satys, I need to clear them completely so that the orange number vanishes until new announcements arrive, plus why was the dashboard settings removed? I used to be able to edit what is shown on the dashboard, but now it seems the dashboard contents are mandatory.

Buffering on pause ?
Hi everyone.
I've seen using plex over web with the plex web app for a couple days now but I don't know if I'll keep using it.
Indeed , videos keep buffering every 2 or 3 minutes. So, okay, I pause the video for a minute, thinking "It'll load in the meanwhile", but it doesn't...
Did I miss something ? Is there anything I could do to make this ? If not, is there any plans for this ?
This is really annoying. I mean, isn't this streaming 101 ?
So yeah I know I could have the video quality reduced to fit the bandwidth. But no, I kinda want to enjoy my videos in the way I want to...
A 1 minute pause would resolve my problem, but without this I have to suffer all the way or watch crappy quality... Not a great choice to adress the lack of a basic functionality...

Unable to login to Plex from Server Setting

SInce 3 days (it worked very well before), i am unable to login to Plex from under the Server Settings. I can login on the website no problem.
Here is the relevant portion from the log:

Episode not marked as fully watched until web page refreshed.
Hard to describe in title but this is how it looks from web app.
I'm watching S02E09 (client unrelated). I'm done 100%, S02E10 pops as next on deck.
Now any client I start now will show that S02E09 is watched and E10 next but then I navigate to S02 in web I see:
If I press play it starts from beginning (which is correct) but if I press 3 dots it gives me option to "mark as watched".
If I refresh web page and navigate to Season 2 again, E09 is fully watched now and under 3 dots I have "mark as unwatched"

Video playback doesn't work in Vivaldi
I've been using the Vivaldi browser lately, which is Chromium based so it should work the same and it has with I believe all other services I've used (save for Netflix, which only required user agent spoofing to get working). However, video playback always results in a "There was a problem playing this item". My music library works just fine though and the regular Chrome browser still works. It seems my flash and widevine plugins are up to date in Vivaldi as well and spoofing the user agent didn't change anything so I'm pretty clueless as to what the issue might be right now.

Movie Trailers
Hi really need help with trailers
If i was to buy a plea pass would i be able to watch trailers of the movie before i watch it? i know its possible to enable random trailers, but i use web app and LG app if upgraded and refreshed my data would it grab all the trailers and let me see them before (help me decide) before a movie.

Plex Chrome App no longer available in chrome apps store

BIG problem with audio player since the last upgrade of web player (2.6.1) and server on Asustor NAS
Hello ! I'm using Plex with IOS and Android clients, with the server on Asustor AS-5102T. Since the last version of the server (0.9.16.16) and web player (2.6.1), the music player, used with the navigator page of the player (Firefox on Mac Mini) is horrible !! It lags, it cracks ! But no problem at all when I hear music from my Ipad or my Nexus 7. Did you notice the same problem ? It's only since the last upgrade. Thank you ! :)

Recently added to TV not updating and re-ordering
Adding Fear the Walking Dead and several others today, did a refresh, nothing appeared. However they are indeed inside and catalogued. Not sure why. No problems for Movies.
Also, I hate that Movies recently added is showing before TV recently added. Since TV is more active, how do I re-order it to show TV first? I like that Recently added got split out into different categories. Good!
edit: Also, the web page keep stuck at Plex, and it doesn't advance. Need to refresh a couple of times for it to

"There was a problem playing this item." when subtitles are turned on.
Hello, Plex users,
I have had this problem since the beginning of time, and only now I have had the time to post it.
So, whenever I play a video without subtitles, it plays just fine. Whenever I select a subtitle (any language), the video stops and displays "There was a problem playing this item." The server this Plex Media Server is running on is very old and non-powerfull, and can only reliably handle audio transcoding, thus, burning in subtitles is enabled only for image formats, which my .SRTs aren't. All the subtitle files are .SRT and the error occurs on subtitles downloaded from OpenSubtitles.org too. Multiplexed subtitles in MP4 files don't work either.
I only use the HTML web player.

Plex/Web music player doesn't change artist (sometimes)
First off, thanks for the great musicplayer in plex/web. I like to listen to music while working, but but I find the full PlexHT overkill. The music player is excellent for those kind of scenarios.
I did encounter a few oddities/inconsistencies though. The music player sometimes:
- Can't skip/seek in a song
- Sometimes doesn't change the artist when a song from a different artist starts playing (song title does change)
Both occur when playing flac.

[BUG] Using CTRL to select items makes select mode persist even when cancelled.
When selecting items on the new Discover dashboard page with the CTRL key all other hover overlay items (Play, Edit, Menu) are removed and not reinstated even after clicking "deselect all". Seems to be temporarily fixed by right-clicking an item however as soon as CTRL is pressed again (even if no click happens with it) the other options are hidden again.

This is said to be a feature of Plex Premium Music but so far have not seen this info on any of my clients. This is for bands that I know have upcoming concerts. Can someone help with this please>

PMS 0.9.16.0 web GUI is not working correctly with Chrome.
This seems to be recent, though I've had this release since it was posted.
The version of Chrome that I'm using is 50.0.2661.26 beta-m (64-bit) on Windows 10 Pro with latest updates.
Works just fine with IE (ew).
Web GUI will load up then slowly fall apart, can't merge shows, starts locking on random objects. All seems fine with IE.

Latest plex/web again does not play ALAC
Again this version of plex / web does not play ALAC audio tracks on an iPad with the latest iOS. Player starts, shows runtime but never moves from the 0:00 to actually play the track. This happens every other release so I really suggest to get some regression tests in place for playing ALAC,

Unclipped corners on the new Dashboard
Hi!
First off, thanks for the update. It's great!
I do have one issue:
Using Edge (25.10586.0.0) on Windows 10 (v1511 aka 10586.164) - the current version as of writing this.
There is a render issue on some (but not all, just to be weird) tile items. The overlay for unwatched is an orange rectangle that is rotate to 45 degrees and clipped to make a triangle over the top right of the tile items.
I can not only see this process (not great), but sometimes it doesn't work right leaving an extra triangle pointing upwards (see image).
If you interact in anyway with the item, including a roll-over, the extra triangle disappears.
It happens in On Deck and Recently Added, both on the Dashboard and when you drill down a layer.
Items with multiple unwatched media items (like TV show seasons) are fine - orange square with the number of unwatched items.

[Bug] New search won't take you to photo library
Piling on to the idea that the new Search should have been held back until it was ready:
In Search field, type the name of a photo album in your library. Here's my example:
In the above results, if I click on either of the Track results, I am taken to that album. So far, so good.
If I click on one of the individual photos at the bottom, I'm taken to that image.
However, if I click on any of the Photo Album results, nothing happens.

Collections not working anymore?

I tried to search for someone else with this problem but I could not find it.
I don't know when it started but I can no longer select a media from any library and then put it in a new or old collection, except for editing a single medias tags and there force it to save a collection.
In the logs I get this when I try to select 2 films and make a new collection:
