Payback error - plex shaka9009 (Manifest) - Opera and Firefox on ubuntu 17.10
Hi,
Impossible for me to play any media (video, music...) in Opera (rel. 52) and Firefox (rel 59.0.1 64-bit), on Ubuntu 17.10 (gnome 3). Still getting this error:
Enclosed my log files. My firewall was turned off.

Plex Web Prompts for Home User if signed in, but not if not signed in from network without auth
I've been using Plex home in order to have limited access for my kids.
One thing I find a bit frustrating is that every time I open the Plex web App in my browser (Firefox) I am prompted to select a user and I have to PIN for my user.
What I noticed is that if I sign-out of Plex, then it just lets me in directly, without selecting a user. This seems like a feature, though one that slightly conflicts with my Home setup (though the conflict is due to my setup).
So, is it possible to have an option to 'Remember my user' when logging in? If not may I suggest this would be a good feature for the Web App?

can I allow friends/users to download?
I'd like to share some photos on my recently setup plex server. It seems when I am logged in, I can click the elipses (...) below pictures and download, but i can't seem to do that as an invited friend. I've googled my eyes out and can't find an answer.

Plex Web App don´t work with iOS Chrome Browser
Hello,
in moment it is not possible to use the "Plex Web App" with the iOS current Chrome Browser. With Safari it works...
Issue: When i login into plex.tv and klick to "Launch" the Plex Web App Ask me witch user i wood like to use (i have 2 Home Users). I select my user an enter the code... now nothing happens... just loading. Waiting don´t helps.
Test it with 4 iOS Devices all with iOS 10.3.3
What i do is to restart my iOS Device, delete Chrome and reinstall. Nothing help´s
What can i do?

"There was an unexpected error loading this library"
Library was loading fine for the last couple years and all of a sudden I get this message. I will post logs if anyone could just tell me which ones are needed . Thanks! I've tried optimizing the database with no luck.

Unable to play from my TV Sows playlist after update. Movies work, but TV show do NOT
I have a similar error, actually two types ONLY when I attempt from my TV Shows category. WIN 10 Pro, i7 4960 , PLEX version Version 3.44.1 . I can play via media player on PC, but PLEX no longer works for my TV shows after the update. Media type is .MKV,,which Movie plat fine using that codex. I attached several screenshots of the issue and showing the drive mounted a playable on my PC. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Playback stops after a few tracks
I asked Plex to play various artists and after a few playback just stopped. I could restart it again by asking for various artists and it started with a different random track. Is this a one off or more regular thing, will monitor. Media server is on Windows 10 PC and using an Echo and Dot for Alexa.

Is there any way to shorten the delay timer between episodes?
I cast from Chrome browser to Cromecast.
It used to be 15 seconds but after the recent UI revamp it has become 20 seconds.
Ideally I would like to shorten it to 10 or even 5.
I realise there was a discussion on Reddit but that's not the official plex forum.

Season with more than 100 episodes
It appears there is a bug with how Plex Web displays TV show seasons with over 100 episodes.
This particular season has 300+ episodes and the arrows at the top become grayed out after episode 101. At episode 100 both arrows may be pressed, but once advanced to episode 101 I cannot advance to episode 102 or beyond. At episode 101 I can still return back to 100 and then both arrows work again.
Seems like there is an array with length of 100 somewhere?

UI Mouse/volume
UI just updated. General changes and look are fine, but the mouse used to turn up/down volume using the scroll function natively. (windows 10, chrome, web app) seams like this was a nice feature. I guess I can macro the Logitech mouse to do the same function, but would be nice if that was native again. This looks like a forum post, is there a better place to post my observation/suggestion to fix for the Plex developers?

Playing any media, kills wifi connection, but only on one specific device
Hi everyone.
I been having some trouble when playing any media on one of my computers. It constantly drops my wifi connection. This is only happening on that computer, and i tried with everything from tablet, multiple laptops, multiple playstations and phone to chromecast on the same network.
So far i've only seen this happening on my 2.4gz network, but my connection to the 5gz from the placement is too weak. on my 2.4 i have over 50mb/s download so speed shouldn't be an issue.
Anyone have any idea of what is causing this and how to fix this?

Playback error "shaka3015" keeps interrupting my viewing pleasure
The web app has worked splendidly ever for several months, but ever since this Friday, when my web app got some sort of update (the GUI changed over night for me), my videos keep on interrupting. It's the same error code. Please tell me what this code means, and if it's something I can fix!

Is there a fix for the Shaka3015 (media) and Shaka3016 error codes? Movies no longer play on my PC.
Windows 8 movies start but glitch out and I get a shaka3016 error code.

Edited Fields Don't Stay Locked
I have an obnoxious issue (as well as a friend) with the Plex Web App, which started happening earlier this year seemingly limited to fields in the "General" and "Tags" sections of movie library metadata. I'm currently working around it somewhat reliably but that makes the issue no less aggravating.
My process for now is to, say, move the (new) file "From Russia With Love (1963).mkv" to my storage device, "Scan Library Files" (for just the one library), and once it finishes successfully matching and processing, I click the pencil icon in the corner of the movie's poster (from the home screen), capitalize a word in the title (lock icon goes orange as expected), click over to Tags and add/remove a thing or two (lock icon goes orange as expected), choose a poster and a background, click Save, and all is well.
However, when I immediately click the edit pencil again, while my changes are still present, the lock icon is no longer orange, meaning the next time that data is refreshed (by the butler or otherwise), the changes to the title and the tags will be lost/reverted (poster and background changes always remain, without issue). This tells me it's likely an issue with the lock feature, as if I simply click the lock icon next to the fields I've modified when I view them that second time, and click Save a second time, everything finally sticks. But that's of course very silly and very time consuming, and needless to say, I'd love to go back to everything working/saving as it should. Thoughts?
Side Note: Every time I scan a library, it first auto-refreshes the last movie that I viewed the full/details page for, instantly eliminating the changes I've made if I haven't re-clicked the lock icons as described above. Likely a separate issue (auto-refreshing the last viewed item on library scan), but it adds to the frustration of the aforementioned issue, so I figured I'd mention it in case it helps in any way.

Is the Flash Player no longer being supported in the Web Player?
Since upgrading to PMS Version 1.8.4.4249 / Web Version 3.20.5 - I see that there is no longer the ability to use the Flash Player.
Is there a way to use Flash Player over HTML5?

Custom Transcode Profiles
Is there a way to add custom Plex/Web transcode profiles or modify the existing ones? Before using Plex to stream, I used VLC with a custom H.264 profile that worked spectacularly with low bandwidth available and still looked really nice. I'd like to achieve similar performance using PMS+Plex/Web, but I haven't found documentation that suggests that I can.

Incorrect unwatched count on show
I've noticed when I keep a Plex tab open the show unwatched count doesn't seem to update where as the season count does.
Refreshing the page does fix the issue.

Is Smart Filter With Multiple 'does not contain' Working For Anybody?
Hi all,
I'm trying to build a playlist that contains items that aren't in any other playlist.
Since this filter doesn't exist, the only thing thats come to mind is to set up a filter with multiple 'and does not contain ' filters.
This works for 1 filter saved to a playlist but when combined with 2 or more, the results are unpredictable.
Total videos = 178
With 1 filter, does not contain 'abcd' -> results in 150 videos and saved playlist has 150 videos as expected.
With 2 filters, does not contain 'abcd' and does not contain 'efgh' -> results in 100 videos but the saved playlist goes back to 160.
So my question is, has anyone successfully set up multiple 'does not contain' filters and saved the results to a playlist successfully?
